Signature Images of Interior Design and Architecture Photography Portfolio

Several years ago it was brought o my attention that I have a tendency to create a specific type of image - a signature image.
These images have a very strong leading line and most often a one point composition.

As part of my continuing education I was studying “Criticizing Photographs” by Terry Barrett and came across this quote by Sadakichi Hartmann from 1904:

“Rely on your camera, your eye, on your good taste and your knowledge of composition, consider every fluctuation of color, light and shade, study lines and values and space division, patiently wait until the scene or object of your pictured vision reveals itself in its supremest moment or beauty.”

As an interior photographer this is the best description of how to approach photographing interiors I’ve ever heard.
