I've spoken to a lot of people lately and a large percentage are telling me that they don't want to shoot their current projects because they're "keeping the doors open" work.

I understand this and I feel it's important to photograph even small scale projects because successful careers and profitable businesses are built on a body of work that showcases projects that are noteworthy for the quality of the work, not their scale.

I feel it’s important to showcase your current work, regardless of it’s scale. This creates an opportunity for you to reach out to your clients and network and talk about the latest evolution of your style, your new ideas and your involvement in the design community.

Of course I have to keep my doors open, too.
