My first impression was the of timelessness of the design. The entrance communicated the idea of time honored traditions with such quiet dignity and respect. The only way to capture that feeling was from a dead center one point perspective with perfectly symmetrical lighting.

I worked to capture the dignity, stability and permanence the design communicated to all who experienced this approach. The elevation called for a one-point perspective image due to the monumental nature of the design. Execution of this shot was a challenge because the temperature was 110 degrees and I had to be in a specific place waiting for the sun to be in the exact position to capture the intended effect on film.
