I loved the composition of this kitchen. The positioning of the design elements offered me this classic two-point perspective view.
It was so much fun working to bring out all the little flourishes and fine details of the traditional design. This space was lit with a mixture of daylight, tungsten, fluorescent and LED lighting that presented some interesting color challenges, because there were different light sources on the same switch.
I used a digital variation of multiple exposure technique I’m so fond of to provide a solution for this situation. I used multiple versions of the image with different color balances and created a composite image on the computer
As my clients say, it really doesn’t matter how you do your job as long as the end result is stunning. Mastering these different techniques allows me to use my creativity and imagination to overcome otherwise insurmountable challenges.
