The diagonals of the space from this angle create a very active and energetic image. It's a good companion piece to the one point also seen in my Education Portfolio and shows why it's a good idea to do at least two shots in most spaces to capture different aspect of the design.

The geometry of the design was the most striking aspect of this space. I wanted to communicate the scale and intended purpose of the facility. Due to the scale of the space and the quality of the lighting design, I was able to capture the mood, tone and energy using only available light with the multiple exposure technique of which I am so fond. This image was shot in 2002 using my 4x5 view camera and transparency film.
