My perception of this space was that it was "fun." The designer  had created space that was both lighthearted and visually interesting. I wanted to capture that feeling.

I was delighted by the playful colors and forms of this design. The perforated steel panels on the ceiling really added a lot of depth. I wanted to capture that depth and the flow of the design from the break room, through the CEO’s office and out to the green space beyond.

Because of the prevalence of glass I couldn’t use and supplemental light and had to work with only the ambient daylight and fluorescent lighting. It required precise timing to capture the character of the space and show the exterior properly at sunset. This was made more challenging by the need to coordinate multiple exposures of the different light fixtures to show them and represent their illumination properly on film. It was a lot of fun to shoot this shot and it worked out quite nicely.
