2009 WCC Outstanding Achievment Award

Communicating the design concept required photographing the tower at dusk. Shooting into the sunset was not a challenge because we had to shoot very late in the day to capture the light spilling out into the marsh.

The tower was modeled on a lantern, so I added a direct tungsten light source to cast stark shadows and a well defined light fan. I shot this image at dusk because it was the most appropriate time of day to communicate the concept.
